I’ve been 98% off caffeine since March of this year after a ‘cleanse’ that I did with two good friends and i’m loving it! Thankfully I’m not feeling any after effects of weening off my beloved java and I have been experimenting with different teas to get rid of coffee in my diet in general. I recently tried different varieties of this brand, Traditional Medicinals, sold at Whole Foods and I must say “I Likey” and ‘I Recommend’!

I drink a cup before bed every night and it tastes a little minty due to the peppermint and hint of licorice from the fennel.
Peppermint apparently calms your stomach muscles and improves the flow of bile, which your body uses to digest fats. So your meals can pass through your stomach more quickly. But it’s not recommended if you suffer from acid reflux (GERD) so be careful or ask your doctor.
