Conference season is upon us, and so far it does not disappoint.
It was great to experience the innovation at Natural Products Expo West, one of the largest natural and organic products conferences that showcases the latest health and wellness products.
I was there to support my clients, walk the floor to see innovations, and meet with CEOs to discuss the gaps they saw that led them to develop their products.
Around 150k people (!!) showed up to see the new products, and new technologies, while having conversations with CEOs who are shaping the future of our health and wellness.
Even Jay Shetty showed up to give a keynote presentation on how to get into the hearts of consumers when creating a wellness product.
Here are 7 of my favorite companies from Expo West this year:
1. Hot New Product: Aaji’s
↳Bringing Aaji’s (grandma’s) coastal Indian food experiences to your plate.
2. Breakthrough Wellness System: Shiftwave
↳Using intelligent patterns of pulsed-pressure waves to create a profound psychophysiological experience.
3. Yummy Plant–Based Alternative: Violife
↳Incredibly ‘true to the real thing’ plant-based cheeses. Their plant-based, nut-free cream cheese was ridic!
4. The ‘Seal‘ ALL Consumers Want: Radicle Science
↳Providing clinical trials for wellness products that prove efficacy.
5. Impacting Underserved Communities: Naturade
↳On a mission to reverse diabetes and diet-related diseases in underserved communities with clean natural products.
6. Protecting People and Planet: Tru Earth
↳Reducing plastics from oceans and landfills with Laundry Detergent Eco-Strips.
7. Best for Your Oral Microbiome: Boka
↳Blending clean ingredients and science to promote healthy oral microbiome.
Honorable mentions: GuruNanda, Earth & Body Wise toothpaste, Daring plant-based chicken, Vitanica Supplements, Peepers by PeeperSpecs, and Eleni’s Nut-Free baked goods!
Bravo to all these teams working diligently to improve our lives and that of the planet. I have made respect for all of them.
Check out these products, and let me know what you think about them. (NOTE: I don’t represent any of these brands.)
In health and love,
